Slumdog Millionaire is a 2009 British drama film directed by Danny Boyle. The story centers on the Indian version of thew quiz show Who wants to be a millionaire and heavily features my set. 

The film was nominated for ten Academy Awards and won a land slide eight  ( the most in 2009 ) It won seven Bafta awrds, four Golden Globes and is considered one of the most successful British films of all time.
